Courthouse Mobility Hub Pilot – Feedback form through Oct. 27: Arlington County is looking into improvements to better integrate existing transportation options, make transfers easier, help orient people, and create a more enjoyable public space through the Courthouse Plaza Mobility Hub Pilot project. Share your feedback online and help the project team develop a concept design!
North Glebe Road Bridge Replacement - In-Person Public Hearing on Oct. 28: The Virginia Department of Transportation is hosting a public hearing on the North Old Glebe Road bridge over North Glebe Road (Route 120). Review the project information online here, and join at Discovery Elementary School on Monday, October 28 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Arlington Blvd. Safety Improvements - In-person Public Hearing on Oct. 30: Join the Virginia Department of Transportation for a design public hearing on Wednesday, October 30 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at Alice Fleet Elementary School. This project will make improvements along nearly a mile of Arlington Boulevard (Route 50) between Glebe Road (Route 120) and Fillmore Street (Route 6622) based on recommendations from the Route 50 Arlington STARS study. Site Plan Project at 750 23rd St. S. (Melwood Site) – Feedback form through Oct. 31: Arlington County is reviewing a proposal to build a five-story mixed-use development consisting of 100% affordable housing and ground floor space for programs serving persons with disabilities. Towing in Arlington—Feedback Form through Nov. 3: The County Board is considering changes to the towing ordinance to align with revisions in state law as it relates to towing vehicles off private property. Share your feedback—and if your car or vehicle has been towed, tell us about your experience.
18th Street S. Complete Streets (Crystal-Bell)—Feedback Form through Nov. 4: The 18th Street S. Complete Street Improvements project is delivering multimodal transportation improvements to 18th Street S. between Crystal Drive and S. Bell Street. This project is also delivering a segment of the Crystal City Bike Network, making more trips possible by bike in Crystal City and beyond. Share your thoughts on the concept design. Learn more.
2024 Green Building Incentive Policy - Feedback Form through Nov 17: Arlington's 2024 Green Building Incentive Policy (GBIP) draft update is available for public comment. Provide your feedback on the draft and share your thoughts on green infrastructure and climate change. Your feedback will be considered when finalizing the draft 2024 GBIP update. Strategic Planning for Human Services - through Dec. 2: The Arlington County Department of Human Services (DHS) is shaping a plan for the next five years to meet community needs across health, housing, child and family services, economic stability, mental health and substance use, disability services, and other safety net services. Please take 10-15 minutes to complete this survey. The results will be used to understand and improve community services provided by the Arlington County. Learn more.
Active Fairfax Transportation Plan - Feedback Form through Dec. 20: Fairfax County is working to combine the Fairfax County Bicycle Master Plan and the Countywide Trails Plan, and is seeking comments to ensure a safe, comfortable and convenient network of active transportation options and trails. Take a look at the draft map and give your feedback online on the ActiveFairfax Transportation Plan page. Survey feedback and comments will be accepted through December 20.
Understanding the Needs of Veterans and Service Members in Arlington: Arlington County’s Military and Veterans Advisory Committee (MVAC) is interested in hearing from members of the military, veterans, and their families who live and/or work in Arlington about types of programs, services, and resources that could be helpful. Safe Homes, Safe Relationships - Feedback Form in English or español: Share your feedback with Project PEACE on any experience you may have been using, looking for, or if you are referring people to resources for those impacted by domestic/intimate partner violence and sexual assault in Arlington County. Your feedback is confidential. Results will help enhance and improve services for everyone in the county.
