Getting Around

iRide SmarTrip Card: Arlington students with a registered iRide can ride ART bus and (some) Metrobus routes for free.

Catch a VRE Train: Passengers 18 and under can ride any Virginia Railway Express (VRE) train for free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. Children ages 11-18 riding alone will need a valid school ID, state ID, or VRE Reduced Fare ID (application is available at www.vre.org).
