Vaccination Status

Arlington County’s Public Health Division is actively scheduling vaccine appointments for those who have pre-registered. Stay up to date on the latest vaccine information by visiting Arlington County vaccine website and subscribing to COVID-19 Update newsletter.

All Virginia residents are encouraged to sign up for free COVID-19 vaccine and check their pre-registration status at Vaccinate Virginia or by calling 877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682).

Additional info and updates are available on the frequently asked questions page.

What’s the most important thing for Arlingtonians to know about the vaccine?
  • The vaccines are safe, and everyone is encouraged to get the vaccine when it becomes available.
  • Pre-Register NOW at vaccinate.virginia.gov or call 877-VAX-VA-IN (877-829-4682).
  • The vaccine helps us all get back to visits with our family and friends sooner.
  • In the meantime, it’s important that we continue to practice social distancing, wear masks and wash hands.

One great way you can help people in your community is to host a Virtual Vaccine-19 Education event. This is an opportunity to empower parishioners and community members to get the facts about the COVID-19 vaccines. These virtual conversations will empower people with the information they need to make a more informed decision for themselves and their families. And ultimately, let us return to in-person worship services and activities. Getting the facts will help all of us live our best and healthiest life.

This guide helps support you in hosting events about the importance of the vaccines, with 10 Steps for Planning a Virtual COVID-19 Vaccine Education Event and a Sample Agenda.

It’s also important to reinforce that while vaccines are an incredibly important tool to fight the pandemic, everyone should continue additional precautions like wearing a mask, social distancing and washing hands frequently.
