About the Property

The Buck site consists of 6.1 acres off Quincy St. across from Washington-Liberty High School. The County has an option to purchase the Buck site for $30 million.

  • Two option payments totaling $3 million have been made. These payments would be applied to the purchase price is the option is exercised, and kept by the seller if the option is not exercised.
  • Per the agreement, the option must be exercised by November 20, 2017 and closing must occur by November 30, 2017.
