Sign Up to Speak at a Planning Commission Public Hearing

The Planning Commission are now hybrid meetings where members of the public can participate by sharing in-person testimony or via electronic communications using Microsoft Teams.

  • All persons interested in speaking on an agenda topic at a Planning Commission Hearing must sign up to speak one week or up to 24-hours in advance of the noticed and original hearing date, not the recess date, in order to be guaranteed an opportunity to speak at the requested date and time. Registration less than 24-hours before a hearing will not guarantee the opportunity to speak, unless granted by the discretion of the Commission Chair.
  • Prior to the meeting registered participants will receive a confirmation email with further instructions from the Clerk.
  • Speakers will join the meeting via Microsoft Teams (accessible through a web browser or the free app), or, via a phone line to provide their comments.
  • Contact the Planning Commission Clerk, Gizele Johnson: gjohnson@arlingtonva.us703-228-0095, for further information and assistance.
