The public may attend the virtual meeting via live stream at www.arlingtonva.us, YouTube and local cable stations on Comcast 25 & 1085 and Verizon FiOS 39 & 40. Members of the public may participate virtually and in person. SITE PLAN AMENDMENTS:

SP# 55 Crystal Inn Co. to amend the parking ratio for the site plan to .3 spaces per unit in the RA-H-3.2, multiple family dwelling and hotel district under ACZO §7.1, 7.5, & 15.5.  Property is approximately 105,666 sq. ft.; located at 2000 – 2020 Richmond Highway (RPC# 36-017-006; -005).  The existing density is 171 hotel rooms per acre.  Modifications of zoning ordinance requirements include all modifications as necessary to achieve the proposed development plan.  Applicable Policies: GLUP: “High” Office-Apartment-Hotel and the Crystal City Sector Plan (2010).

SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE PERMITS:

SP90-U-21-1 CESC Square LLC for an outdoor café in a public easement in the C-O zoning district under ACZO §7.1, §7.13, §12.9.15, & §15.4. Property is approximately 254,000 sq. ft.; located at 1550 Crystal Drive (RPC# 34-020-273). Modifications of zoning ordinance requirements include: modifications as necessary to achieve the proposed development plan. Applicable Policies: GLUP – “High” Office-Apartment-Hotel, Crystal City Coordinated Redevelopment District.

SP239-U-21-1 We, The Pizza - Ballston for an outdoor cafe seating in a public access easement in the C-O-A zoning district under ACZO §7.1, §7.14, §12.9.15, §15.4. Lot Size is approximately 113,283 sq. ft.; located at 4201 Wilson Blvd. (RPC# 14-048-012). Applicable Policies: GLUP Ballston Center Special Affordable Housing Protection District; Coordinated Mixed-Use, Development District.

U-3602-21-1 Wonder Kids Learning Center for a childcare use in the RA-H-3.2 zoning district under ACZO §7.1, §7.5, §12.4, & §15.4. Property is approximately 77,000 sq. ft.; located at 907 N Quincy Street (RPC# 14-043-031). Modifications of zoning ordinance requirements include: modifications as necessary to achieve the proposed development plan. Applicable Policies: GLUP “High” Residential, Virginia Square Sector Plan.

SP #443 Central United Methodist Church and Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing to revise approved site plan conditions in the R-C zoning district under ACZO §7.1, §7.3, & §15.5.  Lot area is approximately 29,783 sq. ft.; located at 4201 N. Fairfax Drive (RPC #14-024-017). Modifications of zoning ordinance requirements include other modifications as necessary to achieve the proposed development plan.  Applicable Policies: GLUP “High-Medium” Residential Mixed-Use; Ballston Sector Plan.

FOR ONE YEAR:

U-3592-20-1 Clarendon Popup, LLC for live entertainment and dancing in the C-3 zoning district under AZCO §7.1, §7.19, §15.4. Property is approximately 9,832 sq. ft. located at 3185 Wilson Blvd. (RPC# 15-075-003). Applicable Policies: GLUP Medium Density Mixed-Use; GLUP Note #12.

FOR THREE YEARS:

U-3460-16-1 AHC INC. (Virginia Gardens Apartments) for a child care center (after school program) in the RA14-26 zoning district under ACZO §6.1, §6.2, §15.4. Kenmore St. (RPC# 06-034-026).  Applicable Policies: GLUP “Low” Residential (1-10 units/acre); Langston Blvd/Cherrydale Special Revitalization District.

U-3327-12-1 Field to Table, Inc. for an open-air in the S-3A zoning district under ACZO §12.5.17. Property is approximately 473,932 sq. ft.; located at 1644 McKinley Rd. (RPC# 10-022-030). Applicable Policies: GLUP Public.
