NOTE: Copies of proposed plans, ordinances, amendments and applications, and related planning case materials may be examined in the Zoning Office, Suite 1000; or text of proposed County Code amendments in County Board Clerk’s Office, Suite 300; 2100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington, VA, 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. weekdays. The term Site Plan in this notice refers to Special Exception in County Zoning Ordinance and is not the same as an engineering site plan or construction plans submitted in satisfaction of other codes or ordinances. SUBJECT: 2020 GLUP Reprint reprinting of the General Land Use Plan (GLUP), including booklet and map, to incorporate revisions that have occurred since the last printing in 2011, introduce a GLUP Public Facility map and tables, and make organizational and editorial changes.

PDSP #161 1731 N. Veitch St, LLC for a Phased Development Site Plan Amendment to remove an approximately 6,444 sq. ft. portion of the parcel of real property known as 1700 N. Uhle St. from the subject PDSP’s site area, to amend the density allocation table in condition #3, and other modifications as necessary to achieve the proposed development plan; located at 1700 N. SP #161-4 1731 N. Veitch St, LLC for a Site Plan Amendment to remove an approximately 6,444 sq. ft. portion of the parcel of real property known as 1700 N. SP# 453 1731 N. Veitch St, LLC for a new Site Plan to construct seven townhouse units in the RA8-18 zoning district under ACZO §6.1, §6.3, & §15.5. Property is approximately 15,920 sq. ft. (0.365 acres); located at 1731 N. Veitch St. & portion of 1700 N. Uhle St. (RPC #16-028-004 & -005). The proposed density is 19.15 units/acre. SUBJECT: License Agreement between the County Board of Arlington County, Virginia as licensor and the Shirlington Employment and Educational Center, Inc., a Virginia corporation, as licensee for approximately 845 square feet of space on the fourth floor of the Arlington Mill Community Center located at 909 S. Dinwiddie St., Arlington, Virginia (RPC # 22-001-725).

SITE PLAN AMENDMENTS:

SP# 16 Dolley Madison Associates to convert a portion of a former convenience store to a new residential unit in an apartment building in the RA-H zoning district under ACZO §7.1, §7.4 & §15.5. Property is approximately 215,578 sq. ft.; located at 2300 24th Road S (RPC# 32-024-002). The proposed density is approximately 73.15 units/acre. Modifications of zoning ordinance requirements include: additional density pursuant to ACZO §15.5.9 and other modifications as necessary to achieve the proposed development plan. Property is approximately 102,386 sq. ft. (the facility is approximately 20,904 sq. ft.); located at 2107 Wilson Boulevard (RPC# 16-030-024). (the facility is approximately 20,904 sq. ft.); located at 2107 Wilson Boulevard (RPC# 16-030-024). U-3573-19-1 Children’s House Montessori for a childcare center for up to 200 children in the C-2 zoning district under ACZO §7.1, §7.17, §14.3 & §15.4. Property is approximately 24,459.5 sq. ft.; located at 3436 Lee Highway (RPC# 06-033-008, 029). Modifications of zoning ordinance requirements include: loading space requirement and other modifications as necessary to achieve the proposed development plan. U-3575-19-1 Indira Chapagain Koirala for a family day care home for up to 12 children in the R2-7 zoning district under ACZO §5.1, §5.9, §12.9.9, §15.4. Property is approximately 2,830 sq. ft.; located at 210 S. Glebe Road (RPC# 23-009-033). Applicable Policies: GLUP “Low” Residential (11-15 units/acre).
