Adult Day Volunteer

Volunteering at the Arlington Adult Day Program is an opportunity to meet incredible people with interesting life experiences. It also provides a learning environment if you are interested in working with people with a variety of special needs, such as Alzheimer’s Disease, Strokes, Cerebral Palsy and Parkinson’s Disease. If you become a regular volunteer, you will need to take a TB skin test which is required for our state licensure.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Staff meet weekly on Tuesday mornings from 8 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. We need 2-3 vibrant volunteers to welcome clients and serve morning beverages and light refreshments during the staff meeting.
  • Serving lunch and socializing  (Noon – 2 p.m.)
  • Developing and leading therapeutic group activities or coordinating special events. Do you have a passion you’d like to share? This a great way to share your knowledge  on exercise, travel, music and art.
