We seek to co-create an atmosphere where open communication and honest feedback is welcomed, and centering families’ experiences is the norm. Contracting 101

Are you interested in contracting with Arlington County’s program? Initiating a contract with a new locality can be confusing! Here are some things you should know to get your started.

1. There are specific kinds of services that can be funded by the Children’s Services Act. Click here to learn what those services are.
2. The System of Care team prioritizes vendors who are providing Evidence-Based Practices such as Multisystem Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and more.

3. There are specific contract requirements that are needed to ensure the safety and well-being of the families you serve. Some of these include:
   1. Submitting W-9 and IRS Statements
   2. Registering on the Children’s Services Act Service Fee Directory
   3. Registering with the Virginia State Corporation Commission (VSCC)
   4. Obtaining all insurance coverage listed in the New Vendor Application. 

Quality Care

The System of Care program seeks to ensure children and families of Arlington receive the high-quality services they deserve in a safe and healthy environment. We do this through close and frequent communication with our families, teaming with the child’s Case Manager, review of documentation such as progress and incident reports completed by vendors, desk and in-person audits, and visits with vendors on a regularly scheduled basis.
