Orchid Origami

Adults. Did you know there are more than 50 species of orchid found in Virginia? Come learn about the bizarre and diverse orchid family, with its 30,000 species in total. We will focus on the orchids found in northern Virginia. After learning about these amazing native plants, we will use the Smithsonian's "Orchid-gami" sheets to cut and fold our very own paper sculptures of Virginia native orchids to take home.
