Lichens of the Fort

Adults. Sometimes human-made structures like pillars, signs, and even rusty old tractor parts provide habitat for organisms like lichens to grow! We will discuss the fascinating world of lichens as we walk around the fort and identify several different species. Teens ages 12 and up welcome with a registered adult. Registration Required.
