Arlington County would like your input on the draft Forestry and Natural Resources Plan. To assure future generations of Arlingtonians enjoy the benefits of nature, the County must identify what needs are urgent, what are aspirational, and how each can be addressed through both long-term initiatives, incremental change and immediate action.

There are many ways to learn about the plan and share your ideas. Over the coming months, staff will be reaching out to the community to get input on the draft plan so that it can be refined to best reflect community needs and their connection to the environment. Here are two ways now:

  • Online Draft Plan Review: Open now until Oct. 3. Read and comment directly on the draft plan here. (Please note that the draft plan is predominately text-only so that it is easier to review the content. The final draft plan will include charts and images.)
  • Online Feedback Form: Open now until Oct. 3. Click here to share your thoughts.

We will post opportunities to learn more and share your thoughts on the project page.  Please also sign up here to receive updates on the plan and process if you haven’t already done to be sure you know all the opportunities to give your input.
