Adult Pick-Up Soccer
Arlington County offers a coed Pick-Up Soccer Program for adult players. The Pick-Up Soccer Program offers friendly, informal, small-sided play organized by participants at the field – no set teams, scores, or standings. Serving both men and women- from total novices or people who are trying to learn (or re-learn) the game to experienced, post-collegiate players. This is a low contact program with emphasis on 90 minutes of physical activity and sportsmanship.
Spring 2025 Pick-Up Soccer Registration Opens February 24th
Program levels of play offered:
Non-Competitive – 8:00 – 9:30 pm on Tuesdays. Plays from 6v6 up to 11v11 on mid-size nets with goal keepers across the width of a regulation field. Non-contact sessions perfect for those coming off of injury or players with a non-competitive spirit.
Non-Competitive (Fast Pace) – 8:00 – 9:30 pm on Tuesdays. Plays from 6v6 up to 11v11 on mid-size nets with goal keepers across the width of a regulation field. Non-contact sessions perfect for skilled players with a non-competitive spirit interested in an up tempo and fast paced game .
Non-Competitive 11s – 9:30-11:00 pm on Thursdays. Plays 11v11 on regulations-size nets with goal keepers across a full regulation field. Non-contact sessions perfect for those coming off of injury or skilled players with a non-competitive spirit.
Low-Intermediate – 9:30-11:00 pm on Thursdays. Plays from 6v6 to 11v11 on mid-size nets with goal keepers across the width of a regulation field. Non-contact session for those with increased skill and strength. Perfect for all ages that enjoy technical and tactical soccer.
Intermediate 11s – 9:30-11:00 pm, on Tuesdays. Plays 11v11 on regulations-size nets with goal keepers across a full regulation field. Non-contact session for those with increased skill and stamina. Perfect for all ages that enjoy full-size soccer.
High-Intermediate – 8:00 – 9:30 pm, on Thursdays. Plays from 6v6 to 11v11 on mid-size nets with goal keepers across the width of a regulation field. Non-contact session for those with increased skill and stamina. Perfect for all ages that enjoy up tempo soccer.
Advanced – 9:30-11:00 pm on Tuesdays & 8:00 – 9:30 pm on Thursdays . Plays from 6v6 to 11v11 on pop-up nets across the width of a regulation field. Low-contact session for experienced players. Perfect for fast-paced, technical players.
***Women's Open*** – 8:00 – 9:30 pm, on Thursdays. Plays from 6v6 to 11v11 on mid-size nets with goal keepers across the width of a regulation field. Non-contact session for women of all skill levels. Perfect for women of all ages.
You must register in advance to participate in this pick-up soccer program. Please register in the appropriate division. Those that register in a division that doesn’t meet their skill set or temperament may be moved to a different group pending availability. See below for more information.

There is no deadline; registration will remain open until each group fills up. Please register for the wait list if your desired program is full. We may be able to take more players later if turnout is lower than anticipated or if we have enough to open up additional sections.
Dates: The Spring 2025 Season will play April 3rd – July 3rd. There will be no Thursday night session on June 19th.

8:00 – 9:30 pm Tuesdays (Non-Competitive/Novice)
8:00 – 9:30 pm Tuesdays (Non-Competitive Fast Pace)
9:30 – 11:00 pm Tuesdays (Advanced & Intermediate 11s)
8:00 – 9:30 pm Thursdays (High-Intermediate, Women's Open & Advanced)
9:30 – 11:00 pm Thursdays (Low-Intermediate & Non-Competitive 11s)
Location: All Divisions will play at Long Bridge Park.
Cost: The fee for the Arlington County Adult Pick Up Soccer program is $100.00 (residents) or $130.00 (non-residents) Fee reductions are available for Arlington residents, based on income.
Eligibility: Totally novice beginners are welcome in the Tuesday Non-Competitive program – even if you have never kicked a soccer ball in your life. Players registering for Advanced should be skilled, experienced players. Must be registered to play and 18 years or older.
