Addictions, Corrections, and Treatment (ACT)

The ACT program provides an extensive 37-week (approximately 8 and a half months) substance abuse treatment regimen for individuals, regardless of gender, identified with substance abuse disorders. Participation in the ACT program is mandatory as per court orders, ensuring ongoing engagement and commitment to rehabilitation but individuals may also request to participate upon approval.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

The MAT therapist focuses on identifying clients who disclose opioid use, utilizing information gathered from the initial housing assessment, booking questionnaire, and urine drug screens conducted upon admission to the facility. Through weekly sessions, the therapist provides ongoing support to individuals, integrating medication assistance as part of the strategy to address addiction. Medication assistance is provided by licensed nursing staff. The services for these clients range from providing emergency NARCAN kits/backpacks, coordinating with defense attorneys to provide viable treatment options, completing American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM)  assessments to determine appropriate levels of care, and providing individual therapy to address underlying issues.
