Destination 2027 Assessments

Between January 2018 and December 2018, our local leaders from the Arlington community served as the Destination 2027 Steering Committee to focus on disparities in health. The committee convened to create a plan to achieve health equity by 2027 through systems change. Health equity exists when everyone has access to the conditions needed for optimal health and well-being.

The first phase of the work by the Destination 2027 Steering Committee was reviewing the four assessments conducted by the Arlington County Public Health Division that follow the Mobilizing for Action through Partnerships and Planning (MAPP) framework:

The technical report provided for each assessment describes the process followed as well as the detailed findings. The executive summary provided for each assessment summarizes the key findings.
