Preparation Underway for Missing Middle Housing Study Kick Off

October 13, 2020 ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITY:

Community members are encouraged to participate in the virtual Missing Middle Housing Study Kick Off, set for October 28 at 7 p.m. Participants will learn why this study impacts everyone, what the process will include, and how to fully participate. Details about how to join the meeting will be posted on the event page.

Key questions to be answered during the study include:

  • What housing types are appropriate for Arlington?
  • Where could new types of housing be located?
  • What would the infrastructure and environmental impacts be? How could they be mitigated?
  • How much would new types cost, and what impact would that have on Arlington’s housing market?

Also in preparation, Missing Middle Housing Study Community Partners attended their first organizational meeting. MMHS Community Partners are an active group of individuals and community group/organization representatives who wish to amplify and/or facilitate broader study participation through the use of their own communication networks.
