Fair Housing 101

Arlington County agencies, the Continuum of Care, and the Equal Rights Center will host a free Fair Housing Education Seminar.

Topics include:

• Local and federal fair housing protections for renters, including Virginia's source of funds protections for individuals with housing vouchers.
• Discussion of potential discrimination for renters during their housing searches and the screening/application process.
• Reasonable Accommodations for persons with disabilities and how to request reasonable accommodations in housing.
• Testing and how to report and address possible housing discrimination.

This virtual meeting is OPEN TO ALL - with special attention to housing providers, service providers, housing locators, housing navigators, and other staff.
