DHARA Restoration Effort

Next date: Saturday, October 26, 2024 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Come help work on this exciting new habitat restoration project! Arlington Regional Master Naturalists (ARMN), Audubon Society of Northern Virginia, and the Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria are collaborating with Dominion Hills Area Recreation Association (DHARA) via ASNV's Stretch Our Parks initiative on DHARA property. This project will significantly enhance the "wildlife corridor" aspect of the land between Upton Hill and Bluemont parks.

You can park on the far-left side of the DHARA parking lot (near Ashlawn Elementary School). We will gather there, sign in and then migrate as a group to the worksite. Please remember this is private property, and the owners are being kind enough to let us do "our restoration thing" on it.

Wear appropriate clothes (close-toed shoes and long pants) and bring your own water bottle. We will have some gloves, tools, and bug spray for you to use, but feel free to bring your own.

Ready to commit? Register here so they know to expect you and can communicate with you if they need to cancel.

If you are part of a group seeking credit on your stormwater utility fee, please bring this form with you, to submit with your application.
