Dominion Hills Park Invasive Plant Removal

Join us at Dominion Hills Park to Improve habitat, meet fellow do-gooders, get exercise, and learn about native plants and wildlife all while making a difference in the great outdoors! Adults, teens, and families ages 8 and up.

This is a continuing project on the fourth Sunday of each month to reclaim the natural area around Ft. Bennett Park from invasive plants. Please bring your own gloves if you have them. If not, gloves are provided. Training and additional tools will be provided. Be sure to come dressed for work, wear long pants, long sleeves, and perhaps a hat. You may also want to bring along a water bottle.

Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If you are 16 or 17 years old and plan to volunteer without a parent or guardian, they will either need to sign the registration form at the beginning of the event in person, or you may print and fill out the "Group Registration Youth" form at the sign-up link under "Related Files" on Sign-Up Genius and have your parent or guardian sign it in advance. Make sure you bring it with you on the day of our event.

Meet at the trail head just south side of the Patrick Henry bridge over I66 near N.10th Road. Park on the overpass and look for the volunteer sign.
