Late-Night Programs

Teen Nights at Lubber Run
Try out sports and esports, show off your best art project, play board games, and more on select Saturdays from 7-10 p.m.  

Teen Takeovers
Teen Takeover happens at various community centers once a month from 7-10 p.m.

Teen Sports Nights
These include Kick'n it Late Night at the Gunston Tent, Ballin' at the Mill Late Night, and Friday Night Sports.  

After-School Programs

Arlington Mill Drop-In Teen Program
Come fill your afternoon with a variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts, board games, ping pong/pool tables and more. Monday through Friday from 2:30-7 p.m.

After-School Programs at Gunston CC, Thomas Jefferson CC, Kenmore MS, and Wakefield HS
Make new friends, develop skills, and have some fun at our center-based teen programs through music, dance, games, cooking, art, sport games, and activities chosen by teen participants.

Teen Employment

Join the Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center staff and monitor two pools, including a 50-meter pool and a leisure pool with a water slide and other play features.

TEAM

Remove Invasive Plants
Join the Remove Invasive Plants volunteers and work hands-on to improve habitat.

Leadership and Skills Development

DJ and Music Production Classes
Learn the fundamentals of DJ'ing and the basic skills needed to create your own beats using a computer.

Red Cross Babysitting Class
Learn the skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants.

Join the Park Corps

Summer Internship Program

School Days Out
Enjoy a variety of activities and trips during APS days off.

College/University Tour Trips
Join us for a campus tour followed by a fun afternoon activity. 

Sports, Open Gym & Fitness

Ballin' at the Mill Late Night (high school only)
Drop in basketball at Arlington Mill Community Center every Friday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. 

Kick'n it Late Night at the Gunston Tent (high school only)
Drop in soccer at the Gunston Tent every Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m.

Esports
Learn what it takes to participate in esports and learn the skills associated with them. 

Friday Night Sports
Enjoy a wide variety of sports activities, including basketball, badminton, dodgeball, volleyball, as well as esports each and every Friday.

Open Gym
Drop in and shoot some hoops. 

Teen Fitness Memberships
$10 fitness memberships for ages 13-17.

Tabletop Minis Class
During this 4-week class, participants will learn the basics of assembling, painting and highlighting miniatures from a popular tabletop game.
