Walking Tour: S George Mason Dr Transportation Study (4 Mile Run Area)
Join the project team for a community walking tour to share more about how you experience the S. George Mason Drive corridor in the Four Mile Run Area.
We'll walk portions of the corridor near the intersection of S. Four Mile Run Drive and stop at key locations to discuss your experiences and other information that will inform the analysis of this segment of S. George Mason Drive.
DES's Multimodal Transportation study seeks to identify potential future improvements that deliver the vision, goals, and prior planning of Arlington County’s Master Transportation Plan (MTP) for this key corridor from Route 50 to the Arlington/Fairfax line.
The final study report will develop a corridor-wide profile and initial concepts for each segment, and further develop a preliminary design concept for the segments located between Columbia Pike and the County line for use in upcoming grant funding applications.
At this meeting, you will:
- Meet the project team
- Learn more about the study and how we got to this point
- Share your experiences with the project team
