Special Land Use Study – Clarendon Presbyterian

The applicant for the Clarendon Presbyterian Church Special General Land Use Plan (GLUP) Study has withdrawn their Special GLUP Study application and submitted a Conceptual Site Plan application for review. The Conceptual Site Plan application includes a requested rezoning from the R-5 District to the S-D Special Development District, which is a district typically associated with the current Semi-Public GLUP Designation. The Conceptual Site Plan submission proposes a redevelopment of the site with a new church and childcare spaces, and approximately 100 affordable independent senior living units. GLUP Amendment Change

A request was submitted for the majority of the properties located on the block bounded by North Jackson Street, North Irving Street, and 13th Street North (1301 and 1305 N. Jackson St, 1308 N. Irving St. and an additional unnumbered parcel at North Irving Street) to change the GLUP designation from "Semi-Public" to "Low-Medium" Residential with an associated rezoning from R-5 to RA8-18.
