About the Project 

The playground at Woodmont Park has reached the end of its useful life. This Parks Maintenance Capital project will include demolition, site work, design and construction. This project will consist of the replacement of the playground in Woodmont Park. The new playground will serve pre-school children (ages 2-5) and offer components for school-age children (ages 5-12), which the previous one did not. The project will also improve playground accessibility, furnishings, and invasive removal in the forested area. No new amenities are planned for this project, which is funded by the Capital Improvement Plan.
