About the Project

Park improvements at Woodstock Park under this Arlington Neighborhoods Program project include a shade structure, fencing, site furnishings, pathway lighting and electrical outlets, basketball hoop, landscaping, and stormwater management.

On Oct. 11, 2023, the Waverly Hills Civic Association held a special meeting to discuss and vote on the proposed Arlington Neighborhoods Program project improvements. The Civic Association members attending the meeting voted to approve the project unanimously, with 28 voting in favor, none against, and no abstentions. In turn, this qualified the project for funding through the Arlington Neighborhoods Program and funding was approved by the Arlington County Board in March, 2024.

Spring 2024 - Final Draft Design Feedback

On May 6, 2024, the Waverly Hills Civic Association held a special meeting at which it discussed and voted on the Final Concept Plan. Again, the attending members voted unanimously in favor of the project.
