About the Project
The existing signals along Carlin Springs Road have exceeded their intended service life and lack many of the more recent technologies used to improve traffic flow and safety. This project includes the upgrade and reconstruction of existing outdated traffic signals to meet current Federal and County standards and specifications, as well as improvements to pedestrian facilities at the intersections. Signal upgrade projects implement new technologies such as accessible pushbutton stations, CCTV for monitoring, video detection, and improved intersection lighting.
About the Process
This project website will be updated as the project progresses. Final plans are available on request. The community will be notified in advance of construction related activities.

This project is funded by the local portion of the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority funds.
