About the Project

• 1,600 feet of new, larger-size storm sewer pipe was installed in two segments. One segment of the storm sewer pipe in this area has already been upgraded.
• The storm sewer upgrade was completed because of historical flooding issues on private property in this area. To alleviate this, existing 48-inch storm sewer pipes will be upgraded to a 54-inch or 60-inch pipe.
• In conjunction with this project:
  • The gas line was relocated.
  • Drinking water lines weere installed on both sides of John Marshall Drive between Williamsburg Blvd and Little Falls Rd.
  • Two green streets werer installed. One will be installed on North Kensington Street and a second on John Marshall Drive.
