Copy/Document Requests
Document requests for the Arlington Circuit Court are processed via email.
The case files maintained by Arlington Circuit Court Clerk's Office are public records, however some documents within these files may be confidential in nature or sealed by a Judge and thus are not accessible for public viewing or copying. To request documents from case files, please send an email to the appropriate address below:

Cost
Copies cost $0.50 per page, with an extra fee of $2.00 for each certified copy. Payments are not accepted online or via telephone.
Payment Forms
- In-Person:
- Acceptable forms of payment in person are cash, credit, or debit card (there will be a 4% convenience fee on all in-person credit/debit card transactions) or check or money order, payable to Arlington County Circuit Court.
- By Mail:
- Check or money orders, payable to Arlington County Circuit Court, are accepted through the mail
Payment must be provided before the copies will be delivered. We will respond to your email request with specific pricing information.
**Please be advised that if you are requesting documents for a criminal case in which you are the Defendant, all fees are waived.
Receiving Copies
Copies can be made available for pickup in our office, mailed to you at your address, or sent via email if you do not need certified copies. Kindly include in your email request how you would like to receive your copies.
Turnaround time
The turnaround time to respond to your request can vary depending on volume. We try to fulfill all document requests within two (2) business days.
Digital Media
If your request is for digital media (ie: video evidence) there is a $10.00 flat fee to comply with this request. Please bring a 32 GB USB flash-drive (new, sealed in its original packaging) to the Clerk’s Office, and we will upload the requested media on to that flash-drive for you.
