About the Project

The renovation for Bailey's Branch Park is currently proposed to be jointly funded by the Neighborhood Conservation Program and Parks Maintenance Capital. It will consist of removing invasive plants, planting native trees and pollinator plants, updating site furnishings and signage, renovating the playground and adding accessibility improvements. Additional project elements may be added during the planning and design process. The scoping for this project was approved by the civic association(PDF, 7MB) in March 2022 and approved by the ANP in June 2022.

Engagement Opportunity #1 - March 2024

Engagement Level: Involve

March - April 2024: Initial community feedback was gathered for the Bailey's Branch Park Renovation project through a pop-up event at the park as well as via an online questionnaire. The questionnaire opened on March 26, 2024 before closing on April 12, 2024. Results from the final engagement are detailed in this overview and raw engagement data (online feedback).
