Application Process
Step 1 – Apply
Apply for a LDA/SWM permit via Permit Arlington. Consult the Building and LDA Permit Quick Reference Guide.
Step 2 – Review
Review the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Minimum Acceptance Checklist
Step 3 – Submit
Submit an erosion and sediment control plan for your project.
Submit a landscape conservation plan(PDF, 2MB).
Step 4 – Design
Design stormwater management for your project using the following resources:

Please note that as-built documentation of the final grading, trees, and stormwater management facilities will be required prior to permit closeout, and must be submitted as a revision to this project in ePlan. See Section 2.9.1.4 of the Arlington County Stormwater Guidance Manual for more information about the as-built requirements.
